A Simple Guide to Preparing Ceremonial Cacao

step 1

Boil the kettle and let it sit while you make your cacao. You want the water to be hot, not boiling.

step 2

Put 20g of shaved ceremonial cacao into your blender with 80-120ml milk of your choice.

step 3

Add your sweetener of choice to taste. We love using honey, maple syrup, coconut sugar or stevia.

step 4

Add 100-150ml of hot water.Then blend for 10s or until frothy.

    Really Handy scoop

    I was skeptical about buying this as I thought it might be unnecessarily but it's been really handy. The rose gold finish is durable, and the bag clip feature is brilliant - rather than losing it in my utensil drawer! I also love the portion size of the scoop - perfect for my morning cacao.
